Sameer Mahawar is a filmmaker, producer, and editor with experience in directing, production, and independent/commercial film business.
Upon graduating from film school, Sameer began freelancing with multiple companies such as Amazon AWS, Dalstrong, Lemonlight, and more. While freelancing, Sameer began working with brand/marketing teams to produce commercials and corporate videos that met the requested need of clients. Sameer often works as a Director, 1st Assistant Director, and Editor.
Additionally, Sameer has also directed and been involved in many films and music videos working alongside artists and writers to bring their vision to life on the big screen. Most recently, Sameer has produced the directorial feature debut for Shaan Aslam, Friends Unlimited that is set to release in the year of 2023.
Sameer holds a BA in Television and Film from San Jose State University. He has a background in writing and directing and loves all things cinema!
